The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mr. Courtney Mitchell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

To the family of Mr. Courtney Mitchell you have my deepest sympathy in the passing of your loved one...I met Courtney a little over a year ago when he 1st got diagnosed.This young man faced his battles with true strength and dignity. Not one day did he ever feel sorry for himself.I will forever remember his smile and the short talks we use to have.He told me which ever way his illness went either way he wins.A true young man of faith his soul was anchored in the Lord.When last I saw him the earlier part of the year we wished each other well and then he turned and walked away with that same smile he always wore, little did I know that would be or last good-bye.RIP Courtney..
