Ms. Thearis Smith leaves behind and hope to see all her children grandchildren, great-grandchildren in Heaven. Rico (Semaja), Stacy (Larry), Melvin (Amy), Solese, Kenneth (Jerilyn), Rhonique, Cameron, Paige, Ashlynn, Amber, Onnesti, Paityn; Anise, and Michael. Thearis also leaves behind siblings/in-laws: Robert Spraggins, Jr., Margie Graham, Willie Spraggins, Claude Spraggins, Annette Spraggins, Raymond Smith, Lucy Bonds, Monica (James) Delancy. Thearis had a host of nieces and nephews Patrick, Kitt, Ronald, Tawanna, Seberna, Laborde, Robert, Nicole, Cedric, Erica, Diavalo, Duarelle, Kemica, Mark, Raymond, Lacreachia, Robert, Aisha, and Jayla; also, a host of relatives, saints, and friends. Thearis was an active member at Bethesda Temple church of the Apostolic Faith. During her almost 50 years of membership/services she participated in these auxiliaries in one time or another: the Voices Of Praise Choir, Las Fidelas Matrons, Bethesda Temple Sunday School, Bethesda Temple Willing Workers, Bethesda Temple Hand and Hand, Bethesda Temple Wednesday Afternoon Prayer Band, Bethesda Temple Widows Auxiliary, and Bethesda Temple Sister of Long Suffering Sisterhood Auxiliary.

I am truly sadden by Thearis demise. She was not only my sister in the Lord but my friend.
Thearis was an amazing person who was always kind and considerate to others. Her passing will not only leave a void in my life but in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
