Ms. Ruth Gilbert leaves to cherish her memory, six grandchildren, George Taylor of Cahokia, IL; Kenneth Taylor-Baines (Greg) of Baltimore, MD; Kenya Watkins of Danville, IL; Michael Taylor (Luvonda) of Belleville, IL; Paul Watkins of Chicago, IL; and Samuel Smith of Arizona. She also is survived by eight great-grandchildren, three aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
