If it had not been for my mother in law, I would not have met Ms. Lovester. Two Angels, gone from this Earth but not from our Hearts. I will miss you Both! My deepest sympathy to all the lives Ms. Lovester touched. God Bless. Love, ~Charay Merritt

I met Ms. Lovester through my husband, Chester Merritt, Jr. (Lil Chet). I will always cherish the time that I spent with Ms. Lovester. She was always very kind to me. My most cherished memories with her are when I was engaged to Lil Chet, I was not sure if I would marry him because of our age differences. I spoke with Ms. Lovester about my concerns. She told me if he loves you and you love him and he doesn't cheat on you or hit on you and if he takes care of you, then don't worry about what others think. I will always remember that day. Another day that stands out is another time we visited her, I was dressed up with my hair done and makeup. She looked at me and said you are so pretty! I didn't realize how pretty you were! Lil Chet has a pretty wife! I always enjoyed our talks and when Lil Chet would take me over her house. I am very saddened about her departure. So, I am sending my deepest sympathy to the Agnew Family and praying that God sends you all comfort and love through family and friends who will be there with you to guide you and love you and be there for you through this tough time. She may have left this earthly realm, but always know Ms. Lovester will always be in our hearts. I know she will always have a special place in mine. May the God Who reigns over all of us, send you peace through your time of mourning. God Bless. Love, Charay Merritt (Lil Chet's wife)
