Daughters, Latryce Gathing-Harris of Atlanta, GA, Marcel Smith of Atlanta, GA, Jada Eastern of Swansea, IL, Erica (Vincent) Ray of Ofallon, IL, Linda Eastern-Haynes of Lawrenceville, GA, Sheila Eastern of Cahokia, IL. and her bonus children; niece Felecia Gathing-Pulliam of Alorton, IL and nephews Ricky Eastern of E. St. Louis and Jamal Horton of St. Louis, MO. She leaves her committed and loving sister Brenda Gathing and her baby brother Curtis Gathing both of E. St. Louis, IL. Grandchildren; Asia, Nicholas Jr., Kyla, Britteny, Arkel, Ta’keda, Bryce, Cianna, Cameren, Ashley, Alaina, Venedra, Tyrone Jr., Franko, Christopher, Ra’Shaun, Eddie, Gregory, Javar, Jasmine, Destinee and DaNyah and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss her immensely. Bernice is preceded in death by her brothers Jimmie Lee and Henry Lee Gathing and sisters Leatrice Tillman, Linda Randolph and Dequenzy Horton.
