Mr. Marvis Bownes leaves to cherish his great memory his wife of 48 years, Patricia, of Florissant, MO; his son, LaMarco (Cherry) Bownes of Walnut Park, MO; his first daughter, LaMarcia “Peach” Bownes of St. Louis, MO; and his babygirl, Patricia, of Florissant, MO, who he named “Pepsi~Cola”; his first granddaughter who he raised, TaMahgie’ Bownes, was so special to him; before he had children, he had Jackie (Lee) Penny who is his wife’s baby sister who he loved as his own; four brothers, Patrick (Sharon) Bownes of Texas, Andre (Chrissy) of Texas, Fredrick (Barbara) Bownes of IL, and Prentiss Bownes of IL; three sisters, Patricia Bownes of VA, Tracie Bownes of VA, and Sherry Armstrong of TX; he also has twin goddaughters, Rosalind and Josalind Rogers, whom he loves dearly; followed by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to carry on his powerful memory.
