Karl laughed with his whole heart. For more than 16 years we shared many laughs and adventures. He loved his family deeply. He was so proud of the man his son Preston was becoming. While he might of stayed in the shadows of many of your lives he never stopped sharing his stories of growing up with his sisters Terri and Theresa. He continually talked about his Uncle JB and his cousins. I’ve heard many stories about the Bissell Boys from Madison. I thank his mother, Lena Hicks for raising a man who was honest, respectful, and a true gentleman. I’ve loved you since that first wink and will love you until my last breath. Thank you for the most wonderful time of my life Mr. Hicks. Love. You Hoos
