Mr. Howard Brooks III leaves to carry on his legacy: His wife and best friend of 12 years, Delphine (Akins) Brooks; two daughters, Makia (Vontrell) Brooks of Granite City, IL, Brandi Brooks of St Louis, Mo. One son; Howard Brooks IV of Granite City IL., Mother, Mary Brooks Belleville IL; three sisters, Sharon (Tony) Young, Belleville, IL, Angela James, Belleville IL and Felicia (Brooks) Lumas, Pembroke Pines, FL; ten grandchildren, Darius Redd, Keyshawn Redd, Destiny Redd, Janiya Fair, Le Trel Miller, Marquis Allmon, Harmonee Brooks, Howard Brooks V, Myrah Brooks and Mackenzie Brooks; Special God Child (Ace Brown). He also leaves to mourn a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and best friend (Theodore Fuller).
